So what is your favorite romantic movie?

It seems that as I am getting older my life is getting faster and faster.  On Friday, I was out delivering some product to a few of my clients.  I brought my baby with me so she could get a good nap. We drove through some unincorporated land with some honest to goodness farmhouses on them.  I actually found myself enjoying the ride and thinking about those Sunday drives I took many years ago.

Slowing down to enjoy time with your partner is not something many of us have the luxury of doing.  We are like many people in that we have two small girls who seem to be with us all the time.  We have actually resorted to scheduling in our calendar time to be together.  Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t.  But what we have come to understand is that when we take the time to slow down, even if it is only during a scheduled block of time, increased desire leads to increased arousal.

Foreplay activities such as massage are always nice, but sometimes even that seems like something that is too long.  So think about ways to create a sense of desire outside of the moment.  Text your partner during the day for no other reason than to say, “I love you.” or “I am thinking about you.” Take the chance to accidently, but slightly on purpose, brush up against your partner.  Grab your  partner’s hand while driving.  Provocative talk can sometimes lead to a very high level of desire.  These little things do not take very long to do, but it creates a desire to slow down just a touch and enjoy the ride.  It allows this desire to increase leading to a heighten sense of arousal that may actually force us to slow down.

Another thing you could try is to actually set a time and decide how far you can go or not go within a given time span.  For instance, for the next ten minutes we can only kiss.  You could even let everything go at that point and not do anything else until the next day thus building the anticipation just a little.

My favorite series of commercials is the Corona ones.  They have done such a good job of branding themselves with the images of a slowed and relaxed life on the beach.  What if the next time you were  together with your partner you thought about being slowed and relaxed?  I bet the ride would be a lot more pleasant.

We sale two types of lubes, everyday and playful.  The everyday are exactly seem what they seem to be.  Think of them as black shoes.  We women have a ton of black shoe that we wear all the time. Just Like Me is a ph balanced lube that has a rewetting ability. I call it a secret weapon because your partner never has to know you used it and he will think that he is the one that is getting you all excited. Sweet Seduction is a glycerin based lube that is a little more tacky than the JLM.  It is a little better designed for those women who are really sensitive.  Both of these lubes arewater based meaning they will be absorbed into your skin so you may have to reapply.  Pure Pleasure is a silicone based lube that is great for bedroom toys and/or anal play.  Because it is silicone based, it will not absorb into the skin so you only need to use a little bit which is why the bottle is smaller. Also silicone lube is not recommended when using condoms. Silicone lube is recommend for water play as well.
Our playful lubes are like those red stilettos that we all have hidden away in our closet that only come out on special occasions.  Whipped and Lickety Stiff are creamy lubes that are designed specifically when using c- rings, sleeves or make simulators. This will help make sure there will be no friction when using these types of toys because we know how sensitive men are about their penis and if there is any kind of discomfort one time, they will never want to try again.  Whipped also makes a good lotion. LS also has a little added mint that will add a tingle in the penis.    Sensations is a warming lube. It gets warmer with friction and over the top when you blow on it with slow warm breath.  The flavoring with this one are good.  It is fun to combine flavors like hot buttered rum and blueberry for a blueberry pancake taste.  This is a fun lube to use when providing oral favors for your partners because the warming sensations will help it end just a little faster, but provide an intense feeling for him.

If I had to make any recommendations, I would recommend Just Like Me or Sweet Seduction if you are sensitive, then I would get either Lickety Stiff or Whipped and a C-ring to play with.  It would provide a nice little fun package for a fun evening.  Make sure you get a cleaner as well to keep the c-ring clean because soap and water will not keep it clean enough.

It is totaly up to the individual what they share. No one is made to try anything they aren’t interested in. We all have our own interest. We also all have our own curiosities about things. No lotions or potions are given for you to run off to the bathroom and try.(unsanitary I wouldn’t want to put something on my hoo hoo that someone else stuck their finger in) There are things that are passed that can be smelled and tasted that are sprinkled on your arm if you would like to, again up to you. No one will even know what you bought because it’s all done privately, some women do come out and dump thier bags.

Myth: I have to worry about my friends husbands looking at me funny.

Fact: Pure Romance doesn’t do coed parties. I do get some women who ask for them. I can tell you this, they are no where near as fun. (It was so easy to meet men on the internet when I was single, not saying I went out with a bunch. Most I just teased LOL. And yes I met my husband on the internet and he didn’t get all gaga over the fact that I sold, that told me he was into me) ( he does however love the product research hehe) With out men at a party women are free to talk and ask. Do you want your man knowing that you call him a two pump chump? or that he is only as good as your wash cloth. Plus I give all kinds of little tips on how to make him into the sex machine he should be. We can’t let them know all our secrets. Men can order products.After the demonstration they can come join the fun and order with their woman or alone. I also do open houses where products are just sat on the table and no demo is done or games played. I do answer questions however.

Ok here is the basics of a party. Now mind you they all have their differences. The group of women tend to set the atmosphere. I have done parties where no one has said a word (not typical) to parties where someone knows every product I sell and tells everyone about it.

A hostess books a party. She invites her friends.  The night of the party she pushes her man out the door with the kids and tells him to come back after a coupld hrs. She doesn’t have to do anything special to prepare for the party, most do have snacks and drinks. All she has to do is get her friends there, provide a space for a demo and a seperate room to order. Everyone arives, They are given a lap board which has the specials, catalogs, and an order form. I pass around and tell about some of the mild poducts Pure Romance sells (yes we don’t just sell dildos). I pass around products like Romance Bubbles, Body Dew (the best skin moisturizer) Coochy ( a shave lotion for the bakini are which will keep you from getting that rash and, you know the one, your at the store and want to scratch but you don’t want people thinking you got crabs). Then we move on to what I refer to as romance setters. Dice games and lingerie type things. Then comes the things that I refer to as makes your night a little more fun. Heighteners and lubes. I even have creams that make him speed up or slow down. We play games, then comes the toys. All of the toys are checked out with the hands only. Please note the products I mentioned are not the only ones that you see. I don’t demo everyting in the book, we would be there for about 6 hrs if I did. I also don’t demo the same things at every party. While everyone is checking out the things being passed around I am also educating and giving some facts, and ideas. Women are free to ask question. If I don’t know the answer I can find out, Pure Romance has a lot of knowledgable staff including a Sex Education Person who has a PHD and we are connected with the Kinsey Institute. Then we get to eat and chat some more while anyone who wants to purchase anything or book a party comes into a room away from everyone else. You get your products that night. If it is something that I am out of I send it directly to you or we meet up. If mailed it doesn’t say sex toys on the box as to not embarass the mailman. It is not the hostess problem to get out back orders. (unlike tupperwear, pampered chef and a few other inhome party plans out there) After everyone orders the hostess comes into the order room and hears the good news about what her party totals were. She DOES NOT know who order how much. Just the party total. She then gets to pick out all her free goodies. This is also the part that takes the longest because it is done one at a time. Usualy if a party starts on time, (a lot of women think they need to be fashionably late) a party last about 3 hrs. I always say give it an hour for the demo if they guys are comming back. Like I said all parties are different. I also do bachelorette parties and birthday parties.

We are all familiar with established retail businesses like Target.  The only difference between Target and a direct sales company is that a direct sales company will bring the goods to the customer as opposed to the customer going to the goods.  There is not a fixed location.  This is done through one of three ways; in-home product demonstrations, parties and one-on-one selling.  Direct sellers are known as distributors, representatives, consultants or other titles.

It is very easy to get started in a direct selling business.  Many companies these days have start-up fees for less than $100.  The regulations vary form company to company.  So have quotas and monthly fees.  Others do not.  The products are so various that there is something for everyone.

Some are scared away by the concept of recruiting.   It is true that money can be made by the more recruited.  This creates a downline that can prove quite profitable.  Recruiting should not scare anyone from direct sales.  If you believe in the company why wouldn’t you want to share with others?

For me, direct sales allows me to keep my family as my first priority.  I can often work on what needs to be done while my children are asleep or while I am cooking dinner (which is what I am doing right now.  Pizza night at the Wilson household)  I chose this because of the ease with which I could start my own business and work for me as opposed to someone else.  I thought about working in retail or the restaurant biz, but that is so much more work than what I want to do and minimum wage just really won’t cut it these days.  So I am happy doing this.  I believe in Brown Bag Parties and their products.  I love the idea of getting paid to party and helping people connect to their partner on a much deeper level.  It is so much more than just selling battery operated sex toys.
